About Me

I'm female, Canadian, a Vancouverite presently exploring my voice as a photographer and, sometimes, as a teacher.  During different stages of my life I completed a BFA and a BEd at the University of British Columbia as well as an MA in Art Education from Cal State LA. I also drove to Mexico (and back!) in a chariot and learned that the ocean is a powerful force. I lived an (un)glamorous life as a flight attendant where I became significantly interested in recording both light, people, experiences. I made snowboards, I waited tables, I have made a few cocktails for the love of money. 

If you're reading this, I already have or I will (likely) take your portrait one day. Oddly, my closest friends are named Shannon or a variation thereof. This world is colourful. People are beautiful. Hopefully, my photographs express this. My world surprises me in ways I can't control but I record what I can out of curiosity and love, just like the rest of us.
